The Great Lock-In 2025: Week 3 Check-In

I’ve committed myself to The Great Lock-In of 2025. This is my 7-ish week intentional devotion to myself. I am planning on using this extended period to build foundational habits to change my life. This is not a sprint, it’s a season of focus. I am locking in to myself, my goals, and my well-being.

These are my four pillars of focus:

  • Career & Business: Consistency in my side hustle.
  • Health & Physique: Foundational habits for vitality.
  • Personal Development: Consistent creative exploration.
  • Self-Care: Rituals of respect and care.

My Mantra for the Lock-In:

“Consistency over intensity. Progress over perfection.”


Week 3 Log: September 15 – September 21

Overall Week Sentiment:
Back in business 💪 (kinda)

Focus Check-In:

Career & Business:

  • Action Taken: Worked on finishing the planner.
  • Win: I didn’t fall behind on my goals.
  • Challenge: Completing the planner. I’m struggling with feeling like it’s good enough.
  • Next Step: Finish the planner. No excuses.

Health & Physique:

  • Action Taken: Started incorporating the gym again and finished my running program.
  • Win: Hit my goal of going to the gym 3 times this week and RAN MY FIRST 5K!!!!!!! 🎉
  • Challenge: Still dealing with the anxiety of being in the gym space all over again.
  • Next Step: Maintain the gym schedule to solidify the habit.

Personal Development:

  • Action Taken: Post to my blog outside of my ‘weekly check-in’ post.
  • Win: Posted to my blog 2 other times.
  • Challenge: Creating just to create and not for validation.
  • Next Step: Post outside of the weekly check-in again.

Self-Care:

  • Action Taken: Started a meditation challenge. Prioritized rest and my night routine.
  • Win: Meditated 4 days this week in the morning. Hit my sleep goal 5 times this week. ✅
  • Challenge: I fucked up my night routine and ended up sleeping later than I wanted. Hit my sleep goal, but at a cost.
  • Next Step: Same as last week. I’m going to keep at it until it sticks.

What I Learned This Week:

I don’t need to justify rest to myself. Sometimes, a bitch is tired and needs a nap. That’s all there is to it. I should never feel guilty for needing rest.

Intention for Week 4 (Sept 22 – 29):

I want to finish the month strong. I’m going to maintain my current habits and routines, and finally complete the planner and set it up in my online store.
